Gas sensor moduleMQ2capable of detecting smoke and leakage of gaseous fuels such as LPG, methane, hydrogen, butane etc. The sensor is compatible withArduinoandRaspberry, thanks to Grove connector it is possible to directly connect the module toGrove-Pi+andGrove Base Shield. The sensor usesanalog interfacefor communication, so in order to use it with Raspberry it is necessary to use Grove-Pi+ overlay orADC.There is a potentiometer on the board to adjust the sensitivity of the sensor.

Connection of smoke detector and flammable gases - MQ2

The sensor is mounted in a holder on a PCB, which, thanks to the built-in Grove connector, allows for direct connection of the module to Arduinoor Raspberrybymeans ofGrove-Pi+orGroveBase Shield.Sensor communicates through analog interface and cannot be used with Raspberry itself, it is necessary to use Grove-Pi+ overlay orADC.
