Описание

Product description: Fiberlogy Refill PCTG 1,75mm 0,75kg - Graphite

Filament from Fiberlogy to be placed on the MASTERSPOOL reusable spool. PCTG material belongs to the same family as PETG, however it offers increased impact strength (approximately 90 kJ/m2), temperature resistance and clarity. It does not require a heated chamber, which allows it to be used in home printers. It offers high dimensional stability and low shrinkage prevents model cracking. This makes it an easy material to use even for people without much 3D printing experience. PCTG also withstands higher temperatures (up to 76°C) and is recyclable. The diameter of the filament is 1.75 mm. Product in graphite color, sold without spool. Net weight of the filament is 0,75 kg.

In our offer of filaments you will also find other materials and colors.

Properties of PCTG filament
  • High impact strength (up to 20 times higher than PETG)
  • High chemical resistance
  • Easy to print - dimensional stability and low shrinkage
  • Suitable for contact with food - no BPA(Pure Transparent version only)
Refill Filament Series

Replacement of single-use spools, on which the filament is factory placed with MASTERSPOOL reusable spools , is a procedure aimed at reducing the number of plastic elements, which we can't use again. We can create reusable spools on our printer ourselves. In order to do so, the most convenient way is to use a ready project suggested by the producer.

Suggested parameters for printing with felt Printing temperature From 250°C to 270°C Table temperature From 90°C to 110°C Closed chamber Not required Due to printer design differences, the above data should be treated as a guideline and the appropriate values should be determined experimentally.

3D printing with PCTG filament is widely used in industry. It is used to produce spare parts and more or less complicated functional models. Thanks to its properties, it is also used in the automotive industry to print accessories, housings, air intakes and fluid fills. Another industry is sports. PCTG material is useful for producing durable and lightweight pads. It can also be used for prototyping.

PCTG filaments are used for 3D printing in FFF/FDM technology. The typical density of the described heat shrinkable material is 1.23 g/cm³. The filament was produced by a reputable company Fiberlogy.

Fiberlogy PCTG 1,75 mm - additional information

On the basis of DCS measurement it was established that glass transition temperature of PCTG filament is 88°C. As far as the maximum elongation at break according to ISO 527 test is concerned, it is at the level of 220%. The material is distinguished by the high light transmittance of the PCTG shrinkable material, which is as high as 90%.

Another feature of the described filament is very high adhesion. Due to this fact, it is recommended to print on masking tape. It is also worth mentioning other advantages, which are high resistance to tearing, stretching and bending.
