IoT LoRa Node Shield is anoverlaydedicated to main modules with Arduino type microcontroller. The moduleallowsto create LoRa nodes compatible with The Things Network in connection with Arduino.The overlay uses RAKWirelessRAK811 LoRachip, whichis based on SemTech SX1276 LoRa technology. The overlay uses 868 /915 MHz.

The manufacturer has prepared a guidetogetherwith software to configure the overlay with the main module.

• LoRa RAK811 radio with built-in full stack LoRaWAN.
• It communicates with Arduino via UART, using 3 pins to module.
• Support for LoRaWAN connections and P2P LoRa modes.
• U.FL connector and antenna to use or integrate different antennas in housings with external antennas.
• Additional 8 GPIO pins controlled by UART including 2 pins for analog sensors.
• Low power consumption - consumes less than 50 mA during transmission.
