Description

Motion sensor type PIR interface is compatible with Grove series. Object detection is indicated by a digital position in a high pin SIG. The range can be set within the range of from 0.1 to 6 m and a response time of between 0.3 and 25 seconds. The sensor is compatible with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, BeagleBone Forward, LinkIt ONE and other microcomputers/controllers. The kit also includes a Grove cable.

Service

Simply connect the sensor with the Grove wire intended for that connector on the Board Seeeduino or, in the case of the Raspberry Pi and other mini computers, according to the table below. The range and reaction time can be adjusted using potentiometers (not included), which must be soldered to the board.

The manufacturer provides on its website a simple connection scheme for Arduino (Seeeduino) and Raspberry Pi together with the codes sources.
