Seeed Xiao is a small module, equipped with a powerful ESP32-S3 chip with a dual-core Xtensa 32-bit LX7 processor clocked at 240 MHz . It enables WiFi 2.4 GHz and Bluetooth 5.0 wireless communication, in deep sleep mode it consumes only 14 μA of current, while managing battery charging. Perfect for IoT applications. The ESP32-C3 Seed Xiao ESP32-S3 chip is equipped with 8 MB of PSRAM and 8 MB of Flash memory. There is also a battery charging system on the board. There are 11 digital I/Os that can also be used as PWM pins and 9 analog I/Os that can be used as ADCs. Supports serial communication ports such as UART, I2C and SPI, including I2S (Internet Information Services). An external antenna is also included. The module can be programmed in the Arduino environment.

  • Efficient system: the board is based on the ESP32-S3 system from Xtensa with a clock speed of up to 240 MHz, equipped with many communication ports, supported by the Arduino IDE and CircuitPython.
  • Wireless communication: built-in WiFi 2.4 GHz communication system and Bluetooth Low Energy 5.0, the maximum data transmission distance is 100 m with the U.FL antenna mounted.
  • Low power consumption: provides 4 operating modes, in deep sleep mode it consumes only 14 μA. It also allows you to charge lithium batteries.
  • Thumb-size design: the board dimensions are only 21 x 17.5 mm - the classic case of the Seeed Xiao series.

Xiao ESP32-S3 from Seeedstudio is another product from the Seeed Xiao series. It has dimensions compatible with the entire Xiao series, i.e. 21 x 17.5 mm and numerous communication interfaces, such as: 1x UART, 1x I2C, 1x SPI, 1x I2S, 11x GPIO, 9x ADC, 1x user LED and 1x charging LED. The board is programmed and powered via the USB type C interface - the battery is also charged through it. The board is equipped with 8 MB Flash memory, it can be programmed in Arduino and CircuitPython.
