Описание

Product description: GatePi - RP2040 LoRa 868 MHz module with relays - 4 channels - 250 V / 10 A contacts - SB Compotnents SKU23240

GatePi is a low energy module, equipped with four relays with contacts 250 V AC / DC / 10 A , controlled by the Raspberry Pi RP2040 microcontroller. The module is additionally equipped with the LoRa 868 MHz E22-400T22S / E22-900 long-range wireless transmission system. The module also includes a USB - UART CH340 converter , a 74HC125V voltage regulator, and SMA and IPEX antenna connectors. GatePi can send data up to 5 kilometers. It is used in the broadly understood home and industrial automation. The module with relays allows you to remotely control power to devices, control lighting, irrigation systems, pumps, activate and deactivate security systems, and manage access to gates and doors.

GatePi - RP2040 LoRa 868 MHz module with relays 4 channels - contacts 250 V / 10 A - SB Compotnents SKU23240.

The module is based on the RP2040 microcontroller.

RP2040 microcontroller

The Raspberry Pi RP2040 microcontroller is the first microcontroller from the Raspberry Pi Foundation. It is equipped with a dual-core ARM Cortex M0 + with a clock frequency of 133 MHz. On board there is 264 KB of SRAM memory, 30 GPIO pins, including a four-channel 12-bit ADC converter and USB support. One of the more important features of RP2040 is programmable IO, which allows you to execute custom programs and can manipulate GPIO pins and transfer data between peripherals - they can offload tasks that require high data transfer speeds.

What is LoRa?

LoRa stands for Long Range and LoRa WAN Long Range Wide Area Network - is a low-power protocol and long-range wireless communication system. This protocol is used primarily in IoT (Internet of Things) projects. The maximum data transmission distances are between 10 km and 15 km. The LoRa system has a fairly low data transmission rate of between 0.3 kbps and 37.5 kbps, but it is sufficient to transmit measurement data from sensors or control signals. LoRa is designed for applications where delays can be tolerated.
