RTC DS1307 I2C - real time clock - Adafruit 3296

Module with real time clock DS1307 and backup battery. It is used in applications written to register data, in clock, alarms, etc. Communication interface is an I2C bus. The module requires a voltage of 5 V to work, but works correctly when powered by 5 V and with signals up to 3.3 V.

DS1307 is simple and cheap, yet provides high precision. Can gain or lose 2 seconds a day. If you require high precision we suggestthe DS3231 module.
