Product description: Filament Devil Design Silk 1.75 mm 1 kg - Silver

Silk filament by Devil Design in silver . It can be used in all FFF / FDM printers that are not protected against the use of filaments from third-party suppliers. The Silk material is more precisely a mix of PLA and PETG materials. The resulting printouts are characterized by a high-gloss surface. In addition, the material is easy to print and does not emit an unpleasant odor. One spool contains 1 kg of filament with a diameter of 1.75 mm .

During the loading of the filament or during printing, it is possible to notice the swelling of the material coming out of the nozzle. This is a completely natural effect, caused by the surface tension of the polymers that make up the filament material. For better results, it is recommended to set high airflow during printing and lower the printing speed.
