5V/1A Converter Module - ME3116AM6G - Unit Expansion Module for M5Stack Development Modules

Unit type extension compatible with M5Stack product series - M5Stack Core, M5Stack Atom and M5Stick. The module is equipped with ME3116AM6G chip which reduces the input voltage from 5 V to 24 V to the output value of 5 V / 1 A. It has two connectors located on the extreme parts of the board - DC input connector and Grove output connector. The inverter module can be connected directly to ordinary DC power supplies.

Voltage conver ter is also called a power converter or voltage converter. It is used wherever there are power systems whose current-voltage parameters do not allow for direct connection to the device. In short - its task is to change the input voltage to the output voltage suitable for the connected receiver. It can be used, for example, when you have a 12 V power supply unit and the module you need to supply requires only 5 V.
