- L-Arginine: The proteinogenic amino acid is classified as conditionally or semi-essential, as the body's own production is not sufficient in stressful situations, for example through intensive training
- L-Ornithine: This amino acid is an important metabolic product of arginine, which can be converted into L-citrulline and thus unfolds its effect in synergy with L-arginine
- Important amino acids: both L-arginine and L-ornithine play a key role in the synthesis of the vasodilating molecule nitrogen monoxide and thus contribute to the regulation of blood pressure
Nitric oxide is an important signaling molecule in the human body. It signals the blood vessels to expand, improving blood flow and achieving better blood circulation. The amino acid L-arginine is the direct precursor of nitrogen monoxide and is therefore significantly involved in the vascular function. L-Arginine is one of the proteinogenic amino acids, which means that it is needed to build the body's own proteins, including muscle protein. In situations of increased needs, the body's own arginine production is often not sufficient, which is why arginine is counted among the semi-essential amino acids. Accordingly, it can be useful to supplement the important amino acid by taking supplements. L-ornithine is a non-proteinogenic amino acid and an L-arginine metabolite, which plays an important role in the urea cycle. In addition, L-ornithine is a precursor of the amino acid L-citrulline.
Our high-dose arginine + ornithine 4000 capsules provide a whole 2500 mg of valuable L-arginine and 1500 mg pure L-ornithine per serving to ensure optimal supply.
We recommend taking one serving about 30 minutes before training. The capsules are suitable for every training phase, from muscle building to diet and weight loss. Because of their important role in vascular health (blood pressure), the two amino acids are not only interesting for athletes, but also for health-conscious people.

6 capsules daily; divided into 2 portions of 3 capsules. The intake should be done before training and bedtime. For best results, consume the capsules on an empty stomach.
