Описание

Product description: Weather Shield - weather station for Arduino - SparkFun DEV-13956

Module for Arduino (e.g. Uno or RedBoard) allows to create a weather station. It communicates via I2C interface, has voltage regulator allowing to work with voltages from 3 to 10 V. The board contains the following sensors:

  • humidity and temperature - Si7021,
  • atmospheric pressure - MPL3115A2,
  • light intensity - ALS-PT19.
An Arduino library developed by SparkFun is available to operate the Shield. Connection is easy with user guide available on-line. Additional elements of the system

Additionally, circuit is equipped with:

  • holes for soldering two RJ11 connectors, e.g. for rainfall sensor or wind speed and direction sensor,
  • 6-pin female connector - for GPS module.

Details of connecting these connectors to Arduino can be found on module schematic.

Technical specification of the module
  • Operating voltage: 3 - 10 V
  • Communication interface: I2C
  • Compatible with Arduino Uno, RedBoard
  • Available sensors:
    • Humidity and temperature - Si7021
    • Atmospheric pressure - MPL3115A2
    • Light intensity - ALS-PT19
  • Average accuracy:
    • Humidity: ±2 %
    • Pressure: ± 50 Pa
    • Temperature: ± 0.3 °C
  • Additional connectors for rain, wind and GPS sensors

The set does not include connectors. You should buy them separately and solder them yourself, e.g. goldpin strip or extended connectors.
