The Blue Smart IP67 waterproof battery charger is the new professional charger with integrated Bluetooth.
The Blue Smart IP67 waterproof charger can be used in devices both in your workshop and in motor vehicles, such as (classic) cars, motorcycles, boats and motorhomes.
This charger has a 7-stage charging algorithm that intelligently charges the battery by providing it with the necessary power, maintaining its good condition, ensuring better performance and longer life.
Victron battery chargers will attempt to recharge a deeply discharged battery by force feeding it at low current.
As soon as there is sufficient voltage at the battery terminals it will recharge the battery normally.
With the charger´s integrated Bluetooth it will be possible to monitor the battery status remotely via smartphone, tablet or laptop.
Via the free Victron Connect app all charger parameters can be configured.
Shockproof, fireproof and fully waterproof, the new Victron IP67 charger with its cast aluminum housing and resin-molded electrical components allows for use in extreme conditions.

And once the battery is fully charged, consumption is reduced to less than one watt - five to ten times less than the industry standard.
4-stage variable charging algorithm:
initial-absorption-floatation-storage.
The Blue Power charger features microprocessor-controlled ´´variable´´ battery management.
Its ´´variable´´ function will automatically optimize the charging process based on battery usage.
Less aging and maintenance when the battery is not in use:
the ´´Storage´´ mode.
The storage mode is activated when the battery has not been discharged for 24 hours.
In storage mode, the float voltage is reduced to 2.2 V/cell (13.2 V for 12 V batteries) to reduce gassing and corrosion of the positive plates.
Once a week, the voltage is brought back up to absorption level to ´´equalize´´ the battery.
This function prevents electrolyte stratification and sulfation, the main causes of battery failure.
It also charges LiFePO4 lithium batteries.

LiFePO4 lithium batteries are charged with a simple initial charge-absorption-float algorithm.
Overheating protection.
Can be used in a hot environment, such as an engine room.
The output current will be reduced as the temperature rises to 60°C, but the charger will not fail.
Two LED status indicators.
Yellow LED:
initial charge (fast blinking), absorption (slow blinking), float (steady), storage (off).
Green LED:
activated.
