Suncraft SENZO CLAD Nakiriwith blade length180 mm is a multi-tasking tool that can be used for chopping, slicing, dicing and finely chopping fresh produce. The knife has the shape of a narrow cleaver, it also resembles a traditional Japanese knifeUsubabut unlike a single-sided sharpened knife Usuby, knifeNakiriis sharpened on both sides. The very thin cutting edge passes through the cut products without the slightest resistance. The weight of the knife, although small, is enough to cut into the depths of tomatoes, onions and other vegetables or fruits. The large surface of the blade is also often used to transfer chopped products from the cutting board directly to the frying pan, pot or other vessel.

SENZO CLAD a unique product line fromSUNCRAFT. The blades of the knives in this series are made of clad 3-layer AUS-10 steel. It is a hard material (HRC 58+/-1), with the same carbon content as steel440C, but with less chrome. As a result, knives made ofAUS-10steel are more resistant to corrosion and more durable. By adding vanadium to the alloy, the sensitivity of theSENZO CLAD knives to abrasion was reduced.

The blades in theSENZO CLAD line, similarly to theSENZO UNIVERSAL, have a full tang ), embedded in the knife handle with rivets. Thanks to this, the tool's grip is secure and it remains perfectly balanced, cutting, chopping and grinding products with a force that perfectly matches the pressure of the cook's hand.

The handles of the products in this series are made ofPakkawood* ebony.

*Pakkawood is laminated birch or maple wood, impregnated with resin. It is characterized by very high resistance to heat and moisture and was developed especially for knife handles.
