Janas is a sinking lipless pencil bait and belongs to that category of lures that is having a recent and interesting evolution as they allow the angler to animate it to his liking depending on the circumstances. Janas in Sardinian language means “fairy”, because it seems to dance in the water when alternating regular retrieves, in which the lure performs a slalom action in long pauses in which, rolling, emits large flares while falling freely in the deep or current. Good for any marine predator and particularly recommended in feeding frenzies of small bonitos and medium sizes.
