Описание

Description

Module with real time clock DS1307 and backup battery power. It allows you to read the time in hours, minutes, seconds, and dates: month, day, year. The communication interface is an I2C bus (SDA and SCL lines), data update frequency is 1 Hz (1 second). Included in the module battery allows you to keep your system working up to 9 years without external power.

In this version, added were resistors for I2C bus, as well as increased was the pad for the batteries to solve the problem of short-circuit of the board

Specification
  • Supply voltage: 5 V
  • Current consumption: less than 500 nA
  • The interfaceof communication: I2C / TWI (SDA, SCL)
  • Update rate: 1 Hz (1 second)
  • Available data:
    • Time: hour (AM, PM), minute, second
    • Date: month, day, year
  • The possibility to save data via battery

The product is compatible with Arduino

Connection of the system, is facilitated by a turtorial for users ofArduino.

Connection

The supply voltage of5 Vis connected to the pin marked with the same symbol. The I2C bus must be connected to the pins ofSCL- clock line andSDA - the data line. PinSQW is an output of a square signal with the selected frequency (details on the page 3of the documentation).GNDis the ground of the system.

Connectors

Pins are solder fields for soldering the goldpin connectors- 2.54 mm pitch (not included in the set, sold separately). Thanks to them, it is possible to connect the system with thebreadboardor the main module (for example,STM32DiscoveryorArduino) viawires.
