The constant voltage power supply EA10502D3, black , by MW Power is designed not only for powering LED lighting , but also for other electronics. Desktop power supplies are extremely practical products. The output of the power supply provides a DC voltage of 12 V and a maximum current of 3.5 A , thanks to which we can connect it to electronics with a maximum power of 42 W. The set includes a power cord. The power supply has a DC 5.5 / 2.1 mm plug.
Built-in electronic protections effectively protect the power supply and the devices connected to it - in the event of a short- circuit or electrical overload in the secondary circuit or when the permissible operating temperature is exceeded, the protections turn off the power supply and after removing the cause of the emergency shutdown, the power supply returns to normal operation mode.

How does a switched-mode power supply work?The MW Power EA10502D3 switched-mode power supply is a device with a slightly different design compared to classic linear power supplies with galvanic separation from the power grid. In the switched-mode power supply, instant keying takes place, i.e. switching the input voltage on and off after its rectification and preliminary filtering. The voltage obtained at its output is measured by an error amplifier in the feedback loop and adjusted accordingly to meet the power supply parameters for a specific load.
