Every time a new game starts in Heart&Slash, you start in the same room, the one you already know very well.

A robot assembly plant that rebuilds you over and over again after a new failure.

The voice on the screens urges you to be calm, and once again you disobey it and begin your escape.

Soon you will find equipment.

It could be a weapon you already know how to use, or maybe it´s a weapon you´ve never seen before.

Whatever it is, you´ll have to get hold of it, at least until you find something else, or at least until you have enough XP to upgrade your equipment.

Quality assurance robots, determined to dismantle you for your non-compliance, attack you.

Many at once, you have learned their weaknesses and patterns during your previous escapes, so at first glance they do not pose any challenge.

You slice, kick and combo them in the air.

But as you progress through the factory, new enemies begin to appear.

Enemies you´ve never seen before, whose combinations you´ve never tried before.

Little by little, small mistakes drain your health as you try to find your way out of this damn maze.

The scenery changes when you reach the factory exit.

You look at your equipment and your experience, trying to decide the best way to prepare for the boss.

Maybe you can discard those ´´wall-jumping legs´´ for some extra health.

Or maybe it´s wiser to increase the damage of your weapon... You make your decision and enter the boss´s lair.
