Touch screen - capacitive LCD 7" 800x480px v3.3 HDMI+USB for Raspberry Pi

7" capacitive touch screen for Raspberry Pi minicomputer with 800 x 480 px resolution. Works with Raspberry Pi versions 4B, 3B+, 3B, 2B, B+, Zero and Zero W. The display communicates with devices via HDMI and USB.

The device communicates through HDMI and USB connectors.

To run the screen, connect the screen using the included HDMI and microUSB cables to the Raspberry Pi. The HDMI connector transfers the image, the USB port receives data from the touch interface.

For Raspberry Pi 4B, use the microHDMI cable.

The screen works with the latest Raspbian system without the need to install drivers. However, in order for the screen to display the image properly you need to change the resolution in the configuration file. To do this, open the config.txt file with the command:

• sudo nano /boot/config.txt

and then at the end of it add the following instructions:

• max_usb_current=1
• hdmi_group=2
• hdmi_mode=1
• hdmi_mode=87
• hdmi_cvt 800 480 60 6 0 0 0

After saving the file and restarting Raspberry, the image and touch function should work properly.
