Описание

Product description: NeoPixel - WS2812B / SK6812 LED diode 8 mm - 5 pcs - Adafruit 1734

Set consisting of 5 NeoPixel WS2812B / SK6812 diodes with a lens diameter of 8 mm . Each LED has an individual address, thanks to which it is possible to connect several LEDs on one bus. The use of NeoPixel diodes in projects allows you to create amazing and non-standard projects, based on light visualizations, shows, as well as home lighting.

The product is compatible with Arduino

The manufacturer provides a user guide for NeoPixel and a library for users of the Arduino NeoPixel platform.

Cabinet lighting, home visuals and light shows - you can do it with NeoPixel.

Connection of the LED diode

The NeoPixel LED has four leads with a length of 28 mm. You should combine them according to the dependency:

  • Data in - control input to be connected to the microcontroller or the earlier diode in the chain.
  • + 5V - supply voltage 5V.
  • Ground - the ground of the system.
  • Data out - optional output to connect another diode.

Diode outputs.

1. Data in,  2. +5V,  3. Ground,  4. Data out.

Set of 5 NeoPixel diodes.

Here are some tips that can save your diode from damage
  • Never connect a voltage higher than 5V.
  • Connect a capacitor with a capacity of at least 10 uF between the power pins.
  • Avoid changing connections while the power is on.
  • Use the shortest possible wires on the control line between the diodes and the microcontroller.
  • Consider using a 100 Ω to 1000 Ω resistor on the data line between the microcontroller and the diode to reduce noise and avoid accidentally energizing the diode from the processor pin.
