The composition of Elephant Syrup is primarily aimed at conditions where a weakened Spleen produces pathological Shi (dampness), which rises, creates Tan (phlegm) and weakens Fei (Lungs). From the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine, it strengthens Fei Qi (lung energy), transforms Tan (phlegm) and drains Shi (dampness) , thereby promoting breathing.
