Using our exclusive Magnetic Chinbar Release (patent pending) technology, the MET Parachute MCR sets a new standard for ASTM certified convertible helmets. Easy to use, there are no more excuses now that you can ride a bike with confidence in any situation. - The Magnetic Chinbar Release (MCR) system instantly transforms an integral helmet into an open helmet, and vice versa. This is a MET design created in collaboration with FidLock® that is pending patent. The Parachute MCR has been truly designed as two helmets in one. With the total coverage of the face, it presents an elegant and aggressive appearance that provides total protection, while open-faced reflects the characteristic style of MET mountain helmets. - Injection visor: The injection visor is flexible to fit the helmet shell. This unique feature helps to distribute the additional rotational force that is transferred to the neck in case of impact. In addition, the visor has two adjustable positions to allow the placement of the mask and glasses. - Removable and washable pads: The Parachute MCR also comes with two sizes of pads that will help you find comfort and the perfect fit. - BOA® adjustment system: The BOA-FS1® features an increasing adjustment back and forth to provide precise and adaptable fixation. The tape is distributed 360 degrees around it to avoid pressure points, thus optimizing comfort. - Magnetic Fidlock®: The Fidlock® Magnetic Strip Quick Release System makes it easy to secure the helmet. - MIPS® head protection system: The MIPS-C2® solution separates the outer shell from the inside of the helmet with a thin, low friction plastic layer LFL (Low Friction Layer) that joins them with 3-4 pieces of rubber and allows that the relative sliding of the helmet with respect to the head in case of a blow, distributing the harmful rotational impacts. - ASTM Certification: The MET Parachute MCR is certified by ASTM F1952-15 / F2032-15 for the housing and chin guard, in order to guarantee perfect safety both when it is open and in integral protection mode. - Ventilation: All MET helmets are known for how well ventilated they are. The 21 vents and the internal air ducting system work synergistically with the breathable chin guard, so that they maximize the air flow at both low and high speed.
