The hookless full carbon rim delivers lightning-fast acceleration and helps you float up technical climbs, and it has just enough vertical compliance to help you nail every line with precision and control. The 26mm inner width is designed to pair well with any modern XC tire. The rim is laced with 24 straight-pull, double-butted spokes to help achieve a perfect balance between lateral stiffness and vertical compliance. We created a lighter weight hub that, combined with the rim stiffness and strategic spoke lacing, maximizes your pedaling forces for superior power transfer. Our Instant Drive 360 freewheel with a double ratchet system provides fast engagement so you can sprint and accelerate out of corners faster. The rear hub is compatible with Shimano HG9, Micro Spline and SRAM XD driver bodies. The Crossmax SL R is available with 6-bolt or center lock brake rotors in 29” only and is compatible with a 15x110 front axle and 12x148 rear.
