Gere 3.0 are hardwearing outdoor pants with superior durability and wind resistance, refined with a lighter construction. The Gere 3.0 Men’s Pants are made from our Levitend® fabric in a wind and mosquito-resistant construction mixed with elastane for stretch and durability, and Oculus® Icebreaker reinforcement on the pocket edges and hems. With plenty of functionality including a zipped side ventilation for breathability, integrated boot lace hook, two open hand pockets at front and two at back as well as zipped leg pockets and a waistline with belt loops and included stretch belt. These pants are perfect for guides, climbers and professionals who need dependable equipment. The bluesign® organization provides independent auditing of textile mills, closely examining manufacturing processes from raw materials and energy inputs to water and air emissions outputs. - Bluesign® helps us to keep control over the supply chain and choose manufacturing partners based on their commitment to safety and environment. - The Bluesign® approval on our fabrics means that it complies with the highest standards of consumer safety by using materials and techniques that save resources and minimize environmental impact. Oculus®: - Oculus® is the group name for our polyester apparel fabrics, produced in accordance with our strict requirements for sustainability and quality. These fabrics can include a mix of polyester or Elastane to get the desired qualities. - Polyester has close to no water absorption, high abrasion resistance, high tensile strength and is very wrinkle resistant. This makes it ideal for use in outdoor packs and apparel. Levitend®: - Levitend® are our Polyamide based apparel fabrics. Depending on the intended use, Levitend® can include a mix of other fibers, such as polyester and Elastane. Our goal is to make Levitend® fabrics in full compliance with our strict requirements for sustainability and quality. - Polyamide (Nylon) is a synthetic fiber that creates extraordinarily strong and versatile fabrics with high abrasion resistance, very good resilience to wear and tear, and a high breaking extension. - The Polyamides we use are derived from recycled, bio-feedstock and virgin sources. Care: - Machine wash on regular cycle at 40°c. - Do not bleach, tumble dry or dry clean. - Iron at a maximum temperature of 110°c. - Steam iron may cause irreversible damage.
