The Edda Backpack 20L is constructed from 400D Retina® material made from recycled Econyl® yarn, making it highly durable. It has shaped shoulder straps for a comfortable fit and a lid that’s easily opened using the fail-proof bungee and hook. The main compartment has a large zipper opening that extends all the way to the bottom on one side for full and easy access, even when you’re wearing the pack. Inside there are several sleeves including a 15” laptop sleeve and a personal items pocket. On the outside, there’s a large, lid-covered front pocket that’s expandable for extra items you may need quick access to, and a sleeve on the right that’s perfect for water bottles or longer items like trekking poles. Levitend® are the fabrics based on polyamides that we use for apparel. Retina® fabrics are based on polyamides but geared toward use in backpacks which places different requirements on the fabric. The polyamides we use are derived from both recycled, bio-feedstock and virgin sources. Durability: - Hardur is made from aramide fibers which woven together with elastic fibers generate an exceptionally durable Kevlar® fabric offering stretch capabilities and softness. Kevlar® fiber of different qualitites has been used in wide range of functions and types of application and remains unsurpassed for ensuring durability and function in areas exposed to high amounts of wear and abrasion. Typical applications are cuffs, storm flaps, knees and backpack bottoms. Regular Kevlar® fiber is used for wear protection that has a fixed shape, and StretchKevlar® fiber for pants, jackets and other equipment where if offers protection without impeding movement or flexibility. All Aramide fabrics used are bluesign® approved.
