The Brage 2.0 jacket is a backcountry ski-touring and alpine skiing stretchy and flexible shell jacket. Brage 2.0 has been refined to be an as durable, versatile, and sustainable 3-layer jacket as possible. It is fluorocarbon-free, made from our proprietary Oculus® 100% post-consumer recycled polyester (Pertex® Shield Revolve) and the weave of the fabric is stretchy and flexible. The jacket is reinforced with Duracoat™ for extra durability. It is also equipped with a detachable and adjustable powder skirt. Cutan® fabrics are soft, flexible, have great stretch and are fluorocarbon-free. - Cutan® Super Stretch consists of three layers: an inside layer in polyamide, a waterproof polyurethane membrane in the middle and an outer fabric of polyamide and stretch fiber. The three fabric layers are laminated together into one single fabric. - Cutan® Stretch RP consists of three layers; an inside fabric in polyester, a waterproof polyester membrane in the middle and an outer fabric of 100% Recycled Polyester (RP). Oculus®: - Oculus® is the group name for our polyester apparel fabrics, produced in accordance with our strict requirements for sustainability and quality. These fabrics can include a mix of polyester or Elastane to get the desired qualities. - Polyester has close to no water absorption, high abrasion resistance, high tensile strength and is very wrinkle resistant. This makes it ideal for use in outdoor packs and apparel. Duracoat™: - Duracoat™ is a unique proprietary surface treatment that Klättermusen has developed to improve durability in high-abrasion areas. It is a coating that is applied to particularly vulnerable places such as the shoulders or elbows, increasing wear resistance by up to five times. - Duracoat™ is a surface treatment, meaning that no extra seams or layers of fabric are added, while keeping it very flexible. Durability is improved without increasing the weight of the garment or weakening the fabric with seams. The cut and construction is kept intact as Duracoat™ doesn’t distort the shape or impede movement in any way, making it ideal for the agility required by mountaineers. - Duracoat™ has become a symbol of both the scientific know-how and innovative thinking of the Klättermusen tradition.
