Bergelmer is a tough and adaptable trekking backpack. It has all the technical functionality you need to comfortably carry and attach your gear for a day or two in the mountains. The Bergelmer Backpack 40L multi-day backpack is constructed from durable 400D recycled polyamide Retina® fabric with Econyl® yarn, and reinforced with our strong Hardur® material. It’s ergonomically shaped with a height-adjustable carrying system with dual density foam that gives you ultimate comfort. With duel-pocketed waist straps, pivoting shoulder straps that conform to your body for the perfect fit. It has ventilated shoulder straps, hip belt and spacer mesh on the back to provide added breathability during those longer hikes. Featuring a large top opening with a chinch closer and additional pockets for easy access to your items, an easily expanded lit to attach a tent, with an outside bungee cord system to store your thermals or wet clothing. And on the front and sides, you have extra features to attach extra equipment, like axes or trekking poles, you may need on those longer adventures. Levitend® are the fabrics based on polyamides that we use for apparel. Retina® fabrics are based on polyamides but geared toward use in backpacks which places different requirements on the fabric. - The polyamides we use are derived from both recycled, bio-feedstock and virgin sources. Durability: - Hardur is made from aramide fibers which woven together with elastic fibers generate an exceptionally durable Kevlar® fabric offering stretch capabilities and softness. Kevlar® fiber of different qualitites has been used in wide range of functions and types of application and remains unsurpassed for ensuring durability and function in areas exposed to high amounts of wear and abrasion. Typical applications are cuffs, storm flaps, knees and backpack bottoms. Regular Kevlar® fiber is used for wear protection that has a fixed shape, and StretchKevlar® fiber for pants, jackets and other equipment where if offers protection without impeding movement or flexibility. All Aramide fabrics used are bluesign® approved.
