The women´s Balder Zip is a technical mid-layer with a streamlined design that will keep you warm on the coldest days of winter. Balder has a minimum of extra detailing to make it move and work effortlessly under a shell garment. The inner layer is comfortable against the skin and stretchy to ensure good flexibility, with thumb loops to keep the sleeves in place. The fabric is a mix between polyester and recycled wool, which makes it durable and soft. Features: - The front zip does not go all the way up to prevent chafing. - Shaped to stay in place even when you lift your arms. - Overlap collar for a comfortable heat seal. - Extended back for lower back protection. - Thumb loops keep the sleeves in the right place - Two zipped pockets for secure storage. For thermal regulation, we use standard wool in both outer layering and inner padding. - Natural wool fibers have small, barbed scales that causes felting if left untreated. In other words, the wool will lump up when washed, and shrink. At Klättermusen, we use a unique process that is chlorine-free to remove the scales to make the fiber soft and comfortable. - Our wool is always 100% mulesing and chlorine-free.
