A Japanese knife with versatile uses, intended mainly for meat, vegetables and fish. Because it has a thin blade, it is also perfect for cutting bread, slicing fruit or chopping herbs. The large blade makes it easier to transfer chopped products to a salad bowl or to a frying pan. The traditional Japanese-style handle is very light and perfectly fits the shape of the hand.
