We distinguish between fabrics that are stretchable in two directions (2-way stretch fabric) or in four directions (4-way stretch fabric). 100% PFC FREE: - Textiles in the outdoor sector are treated with a chemical finish (durable water repellency - DWR) to make them water- and oil-repellent. Fluorocarbon compounds, which are also called per- or polyfluorinated chemicals (PFCs), are usually used for this purpose. These chemicals are controversial because of their harmfulness to both human health and the environment. At HEAD Sportswear, we are striving to convert all fabrics treated with DWR to become PFC-free in the long term. This enables us to protect people and the environment.
