DIY Magnetic Connectors were manufactured by Adafruit and are modeled on MagSafe connectors, a similar solution can also be found in MacBooks and littleBits modules. The set consists of two connectors - male with 8-pins pogo and female with 8-pins with a pitch of 2.2 mm .
