With five components of the splinter star secured, the visions point the characters toward one of the most remote corners of varisia as the location that guards the sixth component of the powerful artifact.
However, the heroes are not the first to search for this component:
arriving at the ancient ruins known as the guilty spur, they find that a small army of giants is excavating the place on the orders of a blue dragon.
Even this is not the entire danger for, as the heroes soon learn, there are other forces searching for the last components as well:
some coming from the dark lands below and others from beyond reality in the nightmare realm.
