Our Prorex baitcasting reels marry two great technologies: a TWS extra-large line guide and the SV (super versatile) spool design. Whether flicking out a micro lure or punching big plugs up to 80g the Prorex SV TW casts brilliantly! The TWS line guide allows the line to flow freely on every cast and the SV spool does the rest keeping the spool rotation fluid and smooth. The ATD drag system is powerful and smooth thanks to our special grease. This is a versatile reel that can handle the spectrum of predator fishing from perch to big pike. This exceptionally high-quality product gives more grinding power at the start and offers a more stable and progressive drag. The risk of breaking off on the fight is kept to a minimum as the ATD adjusts to every phase of the fight: working faster and more progressively on the first run but offering a firmer hold for cranking power in the middle phase. On the retrieve, an innovative hood closes down on the line, feeding it into the lower part of the T for accurate line lay. On the cast, the hood opens up, allowing the line to move freely within the larger part of the T - thus limiting friction, minimising the chance of tangles and improving overall casting performance. - Daiwa drew on the technologies of the bait finesse reels to develop a more versatile range capable of casting heavier weights.
