Maker Hat Base - HAT GPIO Extension for Raspberry Pi 400

The GPIO Maker Base HAT extension from Cytron, designed mainly to work with the Raspberry Pi 400 minicomputer, but can also be successfully used with other Raspberry Pi minicomputers, such as Raspberry Pi 4B / 3B + / 3B / Zero. The module is equipped with a 40-pin socket for connection to the GPIO of the Raspberry Pi via a ribbon cable, described GPIO connectors in the form of a male and female goldpin strip, four buttons , three Grove connectors and a buzzer . The set also includes a small breadboard in a random color, a connection tape, a goldpin strip, silicone adhesive feet and a clip.

The Maker Hat Base board is equipped with a 40-pin socket, with which you can connect it directly to the GPIO connector of the Raspberry Pi 400 using the ribbon cable included in the set. The board also has a male goldpin strip with clearly signed Raspberry Pi pins, on the other side of the board there is a female goldpin strip with also signed pins and 26 blue LEDs indicating that the interface is occupied. Maker Hat Base also has four freely programmable buttons, a buzzer and three Grove connectors for connecting modules from this series. Interfaces such as GPIO, UART and I2C are derived from the Grove connectors. The board also has a 3.3 V voltage regulator with increased current efficiency up to 800 mA.
