A new template of the Teropod of the early Jurassic of North America, Dilophosaurus, who lived about 193 million years ago.
A medium-sized carnivore growing up to about 7 m long whose head was adorned with twin ridges probably used in rituals of mating.
Well-known by the public for their erroneous interpretation in the film Jurassic Park, the Collecta model incorporates a recent paleontological investigation published in 2020 that, among other things, corrected the appearance of the ridges and the superior jaw.
It is the dinosaur of the state of Connecticut.
