Описание

Product description: CM4 Maker Board - base board for Raspberry Pi CM4 - Cytron V-MAKER-CM4

The CM4 Maker Board is a base board created for the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 . It allows you to output module interfaces such as: USB 2.0, Ethernet, HDMI, DSI, CSI to appropriate connectors. It also has GPIO pins that enable the use of Pi HAT overlays, and additional buttons, LEDs and I2C or SPI connectors make experimenting easier. Thanks to the connector for the M.2 disk and the microSD card connector, we do not have to worry about whether our module has enough internal memory. The manufacturer also did not forget about the PCF85063A RTC system with a dedicated battery connector. Power is supplied via a DC Jack connector, with a voltage of 7 V to 18 V, or USB Type C , with a voltage of 5 V.

CM4 Maker Board - base board for Raspberry Pi CM4 - Cytron V-MAKER-CM4

The Raspberry Pi CM4 module is not included in the set, but it can be found in our offer !

The base board is designed for the popular Compute Module 4.

What is Raspberry Pi Compute Module?

Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 is a miniaturized version of the Raspberry Pi 4B single-board computer. It is based on the Broadcom BCM2711 quad-core Cortex-A72 processor with a clock frequency of 1.5 GHz. It comes in many versions, differing in RAM (1 GB, 2 GB, 4 GB or 8 GB) and eMMC internal memory (no built-in memory, 8 GB, 16 GB or 32 GB). There are also variants equipped with WiFi 2.4 GHz, 5.0 GHz and Bluetooth 5.0, BLE wireless connectivity.

Raspberry Pi CM4 is designed to be mounted on base boards, therefore it does not have connectors for implemented interfaces, such as USB or Ethernet.

Main features of CM4 Maker Board
  • Many pins - the board has pins for popular interfaces known from PC computers, as well as Grove and GPIO connectors compatible with HAT overlays.
  • M.2 connector and microSD cards - they allow the use of CM4 modules without built-in eMMC memory and the use of external drives.
  • Additional buttons and LEDs - combined with GPIO connectors and interfaces such as I2C, SPI, UART, they make it easier for developers to experiment and expand the capabilities of the board.
  • Built-in RTC chip - PCF85063A - real-time module thanks to the CR2032 battery can continue to measure time even though the external power supply is disconnected.
  • Two power supply options - a wide range of input voltages on the DC Jack connector (from 7 V to 18 V) and USB Type C (5 V), make it easy to find a power source for the module.
  • Boot switch - allows you to easily upload the operating system to the eMMC memory built into Compute Module 4.
There is a place for a signature on the underside of the plate.

CM4 Maker Board is equipped with many useful connectors.
