Charger BFF - charging module Li-Pol/Li-Ion - add-on for QT Py - Adafruit 5397

The Charger BFF module is equipped with a charger system for Li-Pol and Li-Ion MCP73831 batteries . The board is mounted directly on the pins of the Adafruit QT Py series. It enables charging single-purpose Li-Ion and Li-Pol batteries with a voltage of 3.7 V through a JST connector with a pitch of 2.0 mm. Charging takes place via the USB connector of the QT Py module, the charging current is a maximum of 200 mA . Battery charging is indicated by a yellow LED. The module can also function as a battery backup for QT Py plates thanks to the built-in Shottky diode. Power can be switched via the built-in slide switch.

• The module is equipped with a slide switch in the center of the board, which enables switching the power supply of the QT Py module.
• The JST socket allows you to connect a 3.7V Li-Pol / Li-Ion battery that is to be charged or with which the QT Py module is to be powered.
• The yellow LED is located in the upper right corner of the plate and indicates that the battery is charging.
• Pin A2 allows you to monitor the state of charge of the battery.
