The BB30 Shimano Road Coated bottom bracket by CeramicSpeed offers the possibility to install a Shimano Hollowtech II crankset with 24 mm axle diameter in a Road frame with 42 mm shell diameter and 68 mm shell width.
It comes with high-end ceramic bearings, which are characterised by special load capacity and smooth running.
In the Coated version, the bottom bracket also has metal-coated races.
This extends the service life once again considerably - there is almost no wear of the bearings.

This is achieved by a unique coating that increases the hardness of the races, so that in combination with the smoothness of CeramicSpeed ball bearings, there is virtually no bearing wear.
The coating is a metal layer which is 75 % harder than hardened steel.
It is applied very thinly (0.003 mm) and evenly over the entire surface of the race and is used both internally and externally for optimum results.
It comes with high-end ceramic bearings, which are characterised by special load capacity and smooth running.
