N2B - Jackets.
As it is the case with many Alpha products, the N2B was originally conceived for military purposes but quickly became popular within the civilian population, as well.
First released in the latter half of the 1950s, the N2B was issued to Air Force pilots and ground personnel subjected to freezing temperatures.
Because -50° C is not exactly beach weather (except for Norwegians), the N2B was conceived to offer maximum protection from both rain and wind.
Its outer shell is made from 100% Alpha Industries flight nylon, rendering it windproof and water-repellent.
A real heavy-weight, the N2B is complete with padding and lining that is guaranteed to keep you warm.
However, the real standout feature are the pass-through pockets:
the N2B front pockets were designed to allow the wearer to reach the front pockets of his pants, without having to subject his hands to sub-freezing temperatures.
Additionally, the large hood comes with a faux-fur.
Add the flight tag and you have a genuine Alpha military jacket.
