Air quality sensor ENS160 MOX - STEMMA QT / Qwiic - Adafruit 5606

Adafruit module based on the ENS160 MOX system, which is used to monitor indoor air purity . It processes IAQ (Indoor Air Quality) data such as TVOC , eCO2 , AQI - it is a combination of TrueVOC and MOX technologies that allow you to obtain interference-free measurements. Accurate data reading is possible thanks to the use of high-quality systems. The eCO2 measurement range is from 400 ppm to 65,000 ppm and the TVOC range is from 0 ppb to 65,000 ppb . The sensor is supplied with a voltage in the range from 3 V to 5 V.

The air quality sensor allows you to monitor the cleanliness of the rooms.

• Allows the detection of reducing gases - volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and oxidizing gases
• Supports up to 4 independent MOX gas sensors
• Includes integrated, pre-calibrated algorithms for sensor fusion and automatic baseline correction
• The warm-up time is less than 3 minutes, which allows for quick data reading

The diagram shows the connection of the module to the Raspberry Pi board. The sensor uses the I2C or SPI interface for communication. The pins of the module are solder pads to which the included goldpin strip should be soldered. The manufacturer also placed STEMMA QT / Qwiic connectors on the board, which can be used as an alternative connection method.
