Product Description: 65K RGB IPS LCD Display - 240 x 240 px 1,54'' SPI - Waveshare 18079

IPS LCD displaymanufactured byWaveshareand equipped with ST7789 driver. The screen diagonal is1.54'' and the resolution is240 x 240 px. The module usesa 4-pin SPI interfaceto communicate with the controller module. It presents images in as many as 65 thousand colors of the RGB gamut. Despite the small size of the module, the displayed image is clear and legible.

Product compatible with Arduino, Raspberry Pi and STM32.

Leads description and connection diagram

The displayhas two connection options - usingGrovestandard connectors or throughsolder fieldswith a 2.54 mm pitch. Each lead on the board has been described, so you will not have any problems with the proper connection. You should connect the display module with the controller according to the following dependencies:

  • VCC - power supply pin 3.3 V or 5 V
  • GND - system ground
  • DIN - SPI interface data line input pin
  • CLK - SPI clock input pin
  • CS - Chip Select
  • DC - data / command select pin (high state: data; low state: command)
  • RST - RESET pin
  • BL - pin responsible for backlight
