Описание
Adafruit Backpack module with a 7-segment display consisting of 4 digits with dots. The total diagonal of the display is 0.56 " , the module digits have blue backlight with the possibility of dimming with a resolution of 1/16 step. Thanks to the built-in matrix controller of the MAX7219 type, there is no need to connect a large number of wires, the whole is controlled via the I2C interface. The module is additionally equipped with with two quick connect connectors - Qwiic / STEMMA QT . On the board you can also find jumpers for selecting the I2C address, so you can connect up to eight 7-segment display modules. into the plate.
The product is compatible with Arduino and Raspberry Pi The manufacturer has prepared a user guide that presents connection diagrams and code examples in Arduino and CircuitPython.
The module communicates with the main board via the I2C interface, on the board you can also find 2 Qwiic / STEMMA QT connectors for quick connection with modules with the same connector. The supply voltage is 3 V or 5 V.
